The only reason I come on to Kiwi Biker is...

U have a reason? What is driving you to come back here again and again and...

Posessive? Frustration? Want to put them in their place?

If you gave us multi choice, I would have ticked the last box too but I just get lonely for talking "biker shit"! John.

I went to the Classic meeting at Pukekohe,I met losts of people - some from waaaay back.We talked a lot about bikes, and we talked about other things thrown in too.....differences,and money or parts owed were put aside.I came away pretty happy I have known these people.

I guess that's what I want to see here - tell me about the bike, what you have done/am going to do with it,what you like about it,what you want to change, where you've been on it.I want to say, wow,I didn't know that,I really like what you've done, you should do this, how much?,I've got a set of carbs for that, really?,how do you know him?Stuff like that.

I don't like people,I like bikes - but bikes make interesting people.

It's bloomin great. Info about the best things in life - bikes (and every damn thing under the sun about them), rider skills, events, stuff about just stuff. And a farkin great laugh time and time again. Has me giggling out loud lots.
An experience cannot be proven, intellect and reason cannot prove the beauty of an awesome relationship with a motorbike.

    Please add

I come here every November once the bike is put into hibernation because it's winter where I live and I can't ride, I come for my motorcycle fix, and mingle with bikers, plus this is the liveliest forum around....but the snow is melting now and I will no longer need to come here UNTIL next November!

That's not an argument. It's just contradiction!

It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Not a bad poll and or question actually, but you miss several options like...
    to shit stir
    to be a right CS
    because bikes are my passion
    to befriend some great people
to get more involved in bikes
really the list could go on for ever, but for me I like ya 'to get laid' option... cos it worked

Anyhows other than that for me the 'passion' of bikes got me here and through that I have meet some of the worlds best people on bikes
The fact that I can teach and be tought here is a bonus, inbetween times ya meet some real cock suckers but ya have ya fun with them then move on, as those people will never stop me from doing what I love, altho it has come close here a few times but ya have to remember its just the net and those worth worrying about will still be about on or off line.
    cheers DD

Initially I was drawn to the site for the Bikes and Bike talk, I never even ventured into Rant and Rave. To be honest though,It's a finite subject, with the exception of the ( guess what happened to me whilst riding) threads and maybe the new model and bike related news threads, there are only a limited number of things that can be written.

I enjoy the bike stuff but these days I find I spend most of my time in R and R. As a NZ newbie with an as yet small circle of friends, I'm fascinated to read what the wider NZ community thinks about the world we share. The Fly problem, politics, crime, sex, people and places I've yet to meet and see, It's all here!

Quite often the Bride will pass on news about something or someone that she's heard only to discover, to her dismay, that I'd read all about it on the KB oracle, days if not weeks beforehand.

To summarize, I come here because, for me, It's a window on the kiwi world, albeit from a bikers perspective and it doubles as a where to go and what to do guide although I still have to google map just about every destination you guys talk about. Not forgetting the good folks I've connected with and finally, the laughs, some of the funniest things I've ever read have been right here in the vaults of KB land.

    Good stuff.
    Oh bugger

It's an atlas, phone directory, entertainment guide and how-to manual all rolled into one.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
