To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Middle son got youngest son to do it, only it was a very thin aluminium book mark thingo, that got inserted between the nightlight and the socket. Left telltale black marks up the wall and socket as it vapourised in the milliseconds before the fuse blew.

The white faces of the boys told the tale, but they still got the Spanish Inquisition.
"Did you stick that in there?"
    - no
    "C'mon - you did, didn't you?"
    - yes
    "And did it bite you?"
    - yes

    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Hehe, good old youngsters.

I dont know though, you New Zealanders seem to have a wee bit more sense than the South African plug designers (The other S.A's on this site will vouch for it) as our/their (??) plugs are big enough to fit a small child finger in it.

Maybe it has something to do with breeding a smarter generation, electrocute the stupid ones

i stuck a my finger in a plug socket when i was wee lad, we my mother found me i was pure white, and not breathing, could explain alot about me but yeah thats another story.

Since then, electrical does not really hurt me, can stick finger in socket, light bulb plugs etc, with out anything really happening, shrug i might just be weird.
