    #3 is reborn

After seven years in the back of the garage the old # 3 is back. Pulled her out the other week and gave it a new piston, rings and gaskets re bushed the gear lever and tidy up the rear unit and seat. Thanks to F5 Dave for the loan of the rear wheel until i get mine welded together, not to sure if I give it a paint job or just bring her back as last seen.????????? Want do you think???

who did the rear wheel for you

looks good would be better if you painted it and made it look all bling
then we can count the number of scratches you put on it lol

talk about blast from the past. Seems only yesterday that the RG50 was cutting edge stuff Blitzing the highly modified MB50's of the day.

    .

Real great to see another RG50 hitting the track. My Son built one last year and I am in the process of building one and I know of a guy down the road who is getting his old one track ready again. I was very impressed with F5 Daves unit at Taupo. You can see how years of development have come together to make a very quick 50. Great stuff this F5 revival. I am very much looking forward to the next GP.

Don't paint it Fishy, the patina of its racing history looks interesting.

Don't paint it, think of it as "an unrestored classic"
