I'll see how I feel after I finish at Waikaraka Park tonight - finish at 10.30 then have to take ambulance back to Manukau so likely will be too buggered to head over your way. But you never know!

This reminds me, a bit off topic, but credit where credit is due and I better mention it before I forget - I had the chicken/apricot/cream cheese pizza (can't remember the name of it) and some spare ribs from Hell in Henderson last night. Absolutely primo. Lovely. Props to the crew there, they've hit the quality button right on the nail the last few times I've gone there, now. And tell them sometime that the guy up in Te Atatu Peninsula appreciates them delivering outside their official zone.

Top Tip: Hell's spare ribs on a warm summer evening go really, really well with 70/30 ice-cold Bundaberg ginger beer and Jameson's. I'm having a happy gastronomic flashback from last night even as I type this...

Rob the owner of the Hendo branch is my best mate from welly and also my flatmate, he appreciates the feedback and the good comments. Grimm was the pizza you were after.

    Back to SBK:

Regis Laconi has put his Ducati on pole, followed closey by Troy Corser and Sebastian Gimbert on a R1, Kayagama completes the front row. Andrew Pitt put in a good lap to get 5th, while Frankie Chilli on a Honda is 10th, but last years world champion Toseland is 13th and almost 2 seconds off his teamates pace.

    Should be interesting.

Great to watch the racing on such a huge screen.

The boys disappeared after the first race, I found them outside on the road riding the pushbike..... yep they were practising doing their wheelies and stoppies.. Have to admit they are improving....lol.

So it was a great night.
