    KBers are friendly types

big chuckle tonight. Cruising home to Picton and I passed a local KBer heading home in his cage :spudwhat: on this beautiful day. He recognised me on the shiny red CBR a bit before I recognised him. But I could not have missed the guy. Flashing his lights at me, appendages hanging out the window.

Aren't we just a great big friendly bunch.

Word of WARNING: Sniper CBR if you lean too far out your cage ya might fall out mate!!!!

Oh no, not that issue again. I think we all agreed that we would do a big fart as we passed, stand on our pegs, flip round so we're facing the other way, do a wheelie, put our legs over our shoulders and shout "Gnaa ick ook" into our helmets. And that's the final word on the subject!!!
And it's 05.10am - it's been a looooooong nightshift, we've worked our arses off, it's pissing down with rain and I have to ride my bike home in it at 06.00am (if we don't get a late job), resulting in my beautiful shiny beastie getting wet. And I should stop rabbiting on like a demented porcupine because I've lost the plot completely now.

Carry on - as you were....

    Thanks Stevo mate.

You know I thought you would have done something stylie like lift the front wheel or waved with both hands, but did I notice a small wheel wobbel when you tried to wave?? Just kidding mate, besides, I figure the more of me to hang out the window, the more people might realise for me to be a biker as I try to ride ON TOP of cages. :cool2:

Anyway, we all are a friendly bunch and Im glad to risk life and limb to wave to you fellows and fellaritos :spudwave:

... umm... does that in any way combine with Biff Baff's curry thread going on? Do a fart with that lot and you'd be picked up a mile away... the rest wouldn't really be needed.

    Just my 5c.

Enjoy the rain on the way home - I just enjoyed it all the way to work!

Oh I thought we were all gonna wear yellow helmets so that we could all be recognised...lol.

Oh dear the "Wee Beast" got wet..... I hate that too when my baby gets wet in the rain..... I say "Oh shit, its raining, my poor baby is getting all wet" ...lol.... I hope that when you got "him" home after your shift, that you gave "him" a good rub down all over and that "He" is now all nice and dry and snuggled up in his garage all safe and sound.

Stevo, now look what you did, they are all gonna start talking about how to start recognising themselves instead of the wonderful weather Marlborough has

I`d settle for a bit of rain right now, ride to work at around zero degrees at the moment and the last 2 mornings it`s been -2 on the way home.Passed an R1 this morning(being king of the Banzai lane-splitters) this morning with some poor girl on the back with a thin jacket of some kind one, definately not bike-wear and riding halfway up her back.
I`ve got a lightweight bike cover that I take to work with me,keeps the rain and frost at bay, folds up and goes into a little pouch if you can be bothered, mine gets stuffed into my rucksack.

Nah, feck it - he was on his own this morning. I put him in garage and left him to his own devices cos I was too bloody tired after being so busy all night.

Maybe?, on the whole, but there are a few on here who can be particularly grumpy old farts who seem a little up themselves at times... Each to their own I guess. Just an observation though... not a criticism. Such is life's rich tapestry.

sod that.. I had fun drivin in that sort of weather, but I sure as hell wouldn't ride in it. What about black ice etc? the wind chill factor would be more than enuff to get stuffed. Big-up-respeck to ya mate, but no thanx!!
