    I need accommodation advice

Ok, well, my fiancee and i are splitting up and where trying to find a place for her, its all in good terms blah blah blah no harsh feelings towards each other. anyway, we dont have alot of cash, im keeping the house and shes taking the kids but winz wont help her until she is in the new house but we cant afford bond or extra rent while winz fucks around

anyone got some ideas, please. all i can think of is to get a loan from the bank to help her out untill winz gets around to it but i want a loan to be the last straw
If practive makes perfect, but no bodys perfect then why practice?

Leave her living temporarily in the house until you can put enough money aside to get her set up somehere? It would be a lot more simple for you to find temporary accommodation than for her & the kids. Got a friend you could stay with?

2nd, are you sure about this?? WINZ quite often will not tell you what you are entitled to. As mentioned, talk to Citizen's Advice and check www.winz.govt.nz. They messed Miss Mully around something chronic.

Oh and sorry, I should have said commiserations to you - it is always sad when a r'ship breaks down, especially when there are kids involved

I would add that allowing her to stay in the house for a period might also make the change a little easier on the kids?

As Mully said. WINZ wont do much unless pushed.
Both my sister inlaws work for them. They said the same thing.... Push for results and thee might just get results you want.

Sounds like you both have the kids best interests at heart, and that is the main thing. Good luck
