    thanks mate, have seen the puppy and was wondering what it was all about.
    any idea what sort of filter it is ? number in shit like that ?

    The oil filters come as hinged units so you can fit them without removing the bottom fairing. Neat eh! However I imagine you can get straight filters too. There is a guy in Nelson on Trademe who sells BMW stuff. I'll post a link when I find it. Very helpful.
