    Suzuki gt125 premixing oil?

    Hi guys

I'm building myself a bucket,im using a gt125 engine in a rgv150 frame.I was wondering if anyone knows if i can premix the oil and get rid of the pump and tank.the oil is feed into the crankcase via 4 banjo bolts,2 of them go directly into the intake ports but im not sure where the other 2 go,i guess they go into the main bearings.if that was the case i guess i couldnt premix...?
Any info on this would be really helpfull

    Thanks,john

I'm pretty sure the oil pump does lube the mains so you can't (unless you want crank seizure !!).

    .

Suzuki's T500's, T250,s T10's etc that had oil pumped to the main brg the oil was then collected by a slinger ring behind the main brg and passed on to the big end brg.

In the old days these race prepped Suzuki's had the oil line to the carb removed and the oil pump set to 30% to oil the main/big end brg's and the petrol premixed 20:1 castrol R.

With todays better oils premix 35:1 and set the pump to 30%

Or you can strip the motor and drill oiling holes to the main brgs and fit rods with oiling slots and throw the pump away.

Sorry to wander off the track a little here but thought this may help...

With the RGV150 frame, the forks are a little on the narrow & thin side if you put decent brakes and wheels on them. I had them wandering all of the place through left to rights and also under hard braking.
So, I put a fork brace on, made longer spacers to preload the weak springs and put 15W oil in (factory is 10W from memory).
Was an absolute mission getting the TZR wheels and caliper to fit too !!!

Also, raise the forks up quite a bit to steepen the steering angle to get it to not understeer and scrub the front end out. Really helps.
