    There is a string tribute to tool which I naturally like

    Also adagio for strings, i think originally by Sam Barber

    Have to say John Williams 'March of the Heroes' (trumpet fanfare from the opening of the 1984 Olympic Games) and the soundtrack from Crimson Tide rate fairly highly in my book, and we can't leave out Equinoxe
