Thumbs up Today could be a good day!

Well, as some of you all know I am unemployed. I have been over the last 2 1/2 weeks. I know that aint long but it has been very depressing for me. I forgot how freaking boring it is.

This morning has only begun and 4 things have happened that have perked me up.
First of all the fork seals I have been waiting for turned up

...Then I get a phone call in regard to a job I applied for about one and a half weeks ago. I have an interview this arvo...

I got a letter in the mail as well...Have won a double pass to go and see Friday the 13th

...and finally another prospective employer called me and mentioned I am at the top of their list for a supervisor role that they are creating for a new project, but they need to work out the bits and bobs of it, will be a couple of weeks away...

Anyhoo, as they say it is darkest before the dawn, and I was up until today feeling pretty dammned gloomy!

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

The best of British to ya Bren
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Good luck with both of them mate !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

I don't believe in luck, Bren, so I won't wish you good luck, but I wish you all the best anyway. I hope things work out for you.
