Only 5% will get through and come out getting on with life, the other 95% will learn how not to get caught and be more succesful at doing what they did before the Boot Camp

A few things... I can appreciate that he is doing something for the problem, but there are a bunch of people saying that the only thing it does is turn out tougher shitheads that are now fit and a little more book smart. And Phil Gough (how to spell it?) just seems to be popping his head up complaining about every little thing John Key is doing, yet his party had done nothing to fix the problem and at least National is doing something. If he wanted things to stay the same then one can assume he was happy with the way things were and thought it acceptable... Thoughts?

I'D rather see ALL youth when they turn eighteen do six months National Service Training in disather relief, then when tyhoons, earthquakes etc happen we send help not millions of dollars.

Funny you should say that dude. I've thought for a long time that edjumucation is actually wasted on the Yoof of today.
Seriously I think at year 12 all kids should be out there in the work force. Compulsary work. 8-5.30 for 12 months. After that then go back to school with perhaps a clearer picture of the life direction they want to take.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Well, alot of red rep to the people who's opinion differ from his. That's helpfull I think.

MAking dole bludgers work for the dole they're bludging simply wont work. They'll all develop serious illnesses that stops them working. Like complaining that it's too hard to give up smoking, therefore, I can't go to work. Sorry.

Damn straight, as its MY money anyway.

LOL is that the best you can come up with?

if i give my mates a lift in my car, or even let one borrow a bike, i think nothing of it - i wouldnt even remember it to be able to throw it in their face.

    lame.
