Flate slide carbs for zxr400, or any other goes fast goodies

    Hi every one
Just wondering if any body had a set of flate slide carbs hiding away some where for a ZXR400?
that they would be willing to part with, or any other little go fast goodies?
    Many thanks

20% nitros & 80% methanol won a few championships in those things!
Probably worth giving Andy Bowell a ring - he's the guru.
Tony McMurdo, Brendon Coad & Nathan Spargo all won championships on zxr400s and may be worth a call for free advice or bits in the shed? e.g. Nathan had good success with a pressurised airbox.

Well, you can make ZXR's go fast but dont have to have flat slides

He cant ride my bike because I still have done nothing about the MISSFIRE

I'm getting out of racing so have a few go faster parts for the L model, not sure if they fit the H.

    Ohlins rear shock $700

    4-1 Race exhaust $250

Flatslides are pretty hard to get hold of these days. Best bet is to buy an ex-race bike with them already fitted.

    PM me if interested.

the shock and the exhuast look like good buys. spec exhaust eamon would prob grab that if you dont

a genuine, if not niave question, couldnt appropriate, matching dirt bike flatslide carbs be used?

Maybe but the hassle going the non-zxr flatslide route is that you need 4 of them, mount them all together and get them to fit on the bike with the appropriate linkages for it to all work happily. Then all the hassles of sorting the jetting/airbox and so on.

Way easier to just buy a working solution. Plus I never see zxr400 flatslide carbs up for sale (except in the UK for 300gbp) but flatslide equipped race bikes pop up every now and then.
