Great effort Glen & Chris, - nice clean racing & excellent pace. Shame that you didnt have the chance to accept your first national title race win & lap record recognition on the day at prize-giving mate.
Look forward to watching your results in the future and assisting wherever i can to help.
    Cheers
    Glen Williams

Great write up Glen, and a great weekend's racing too ! You thoroughly deserved the lap record and the win in race three, and i was VERY impressed with the way you rode, and handled yourself all weekend.
I remember being told to "leave the bike the f#$k alone and concentrate on riding" by Chris way back in '97 when he spannered the 125 I rode, and it has stuck with me ever since. It's good advice when you have good people around you that you can rely on to take care of things, and I hope neither you or Chris mind that I stole that piece of advice for the weekend. It was a huge thing for me when I raced, and I hope the support you got at the weekend made it easier to concentrate on riding
Awesome effort mate, and I hope you gained plenty from working with Chris - there are not many who can run a race weekend like him, and plenty could learn from his level of knowledge and organisation.
All the best for Puke - bring home that TT ! Wooooohooooo ! ! !

    Hey Jase,

Yeah the 450 is a K6 model, which i've found out is quite a bit different from the K5!!

It would be bloody interesting to see how the K5 would go as a 450, especially because I think with 20% less power, It might be possible that the stock suspension might be able to handle it a bit better, which would mean a fast and cheap F3 bike!

    Hey Mishy,

Thanks for the positive comments mate, and the support I received over the weekend definitely made it significantly easier to concentrate on the riding!

I can honestly say that the weekend was an eye opener in terms of realising how important a great team is.

Can't wait for Puke! Are you going to be there?

    Cheers,

    -Glen

Gotta concur with that, a great amount of effort has also gone into his writeup. Those that make the effort are deserving of good results.

mate, would love to, but family have made plans for that weekend since Jay's accident. Ah, the pleasure of balancing time with a sport mad family and an interest in motor racing, eh ? All good
