    No whinging!

Taupo's almost as close to you as Puke is to us, and you can get to Manfeild quicker than we can get to Taupo.

If its at Taupo I can volunteer to help out. If its on the weekend, my whole family is likely to be keen on helping also. We are involved with pocket bike racing, so we have SOME idea about what is happening. None of us have any trackday experience other than that.

We have a pair of UHF handheld radios if thats any use.

My mate has a coffee trailer/cart that I MIGHT be able to borrow if its not booked. One of the kids here might operate it if theres enough interest.

Happy to assist, and maybe even keep my mouth shut..

    HTH,
    Steve

On a number of occasions several folk at hot summer trackdays have commented how awesome it'd be to have certain products and services available at the track.

I'm not allowed to specify what those are around you, though, because I'll get hammed with an 'abusive' infraction.

But, since we both know what I'm talking about, do you think you could put your shame about your profession aside for a day and turn up fully equipped? It'd be seriously awesome.

Frosty me ole mate, in a word son, grow some BALLS, fuck the 30 riders do a full on KB one like you used to, with good backing from everyone here it will be a winner, you will get marshalls, you will get KBrs and SBrs and all soughts coming along, sell it as a fun social event with some trimmings, make it big and get what we used to have going again.

    GO BIG OR GO HOME

Oh it has to be at Taupo, Puke is crap to watch and its restrictive with the track crossing etc.

For me mate I will be right behind it and happy to help even with a bit of coin and prizes dude, I will do everything I can do

Hehe, well firstly Taupo is out of my franchise area, then it is likely too small an event to be profitable to sit a $60,000 work vehicle at all day when all everyone wants to do is cane their bike, and lastly the operators are on commission (I just own and maintain the vans - I don't drive them) so they will go where the money is.

I am not ashamed about my profession. Actually I am very angry about it, since you mention it. Try 30,000 hours of your ass in the drivers seat over 20 years of abuse and see how you like it.

So I would say you are SOL there, unless you can persuade the local operator to drop in for half an hour in the heat of the day. Give them a call 08004whippy

But Coffee and maybe a BBQ I could arrange. The 14+3/4 y/o kid is saving hard for a bike, so your support will be helping her out heaps.

Your ass has been abused for 30,000 hours over 20 years?

Quasi me ol mate you are missing the point tis not about balls. Heck I know if I wanted to I could (and will) pick up the trackdays where I left off. BUT I see on here the serious trackday junkies want more tracktime.Noone is currently catering for these people.
AND if Im being totally honest here -I WANT FUCKEN TRACKTIME MYSELF. and thats something I just dont get when Im running a full on KB trackday. -The few laps i do get Im not enjoying cos Im so worried about some tard with a bald tyre or a loose swingarm etc.
The KB trackdays --mate you have hit yon nail on the head next one Im thinking of making it a bit of a social thing.Trackday on SATURDAY then a bit of a knees up somewhere sat night
