    Scariest sneeze ever!

On my way to work this morning comming round the inlet towards Proriua, I could feel the itch you get in your nose before you sneeze. Holy hell I thought....then blam I couldn't hold back, couldn't get my visor open, in the middle of a left hand bend.............sneeze sneeze sneeze.

Fuck me, I'm thinking where the fucks the road, can't keep my eyes open, so I just ease off the throttle and keep leaning - by the time I stop sneezing and get my eyes open looking through the splatters on the inside of my visor I was still just inside my lane - so with a little more of a lean I was out of the corner and away again.

First thought was "well that was somthing new" and had a little chuckle at the splatter that was now running down the inside of my visor. Could have been alot worse on a faster stretch of road!

I'm sure its nothing new and many a rider would have experienced this - thought it was funny, feel free to share you experiences

had it happen on a number of times.

The best thing you can do is lift up your visor prior to you sneezing.

    Yayess.
    That's what I do.
I've also found out that although it's seemingly impossible to keep your eyes open when you sneeze (what's up with that? is it to stop the backlash or summat?!?) you CAN keep one eye open, if you shut one eye before you sneeze.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Found it is impossible to keep eyes open so I just try and slow down is able. Must be scary on a corner though! Just lucky I don't do my regular 16 sneezes at one time, while riding!
I do find it hard to blow my nose so have to let the snot run down into my mouth and suck it in, hoping that the dried trail is not evident when I take my helmet off!!

Isnt 7 or so sneezes in a row equivalent to an orgasm?--- pass me the pepper!

The funniest, scariest sneeze i have EVER seen was from my son. 5 years old. Eating McDonalds fries, and he sneezed. Half a chip lodged up in the back of his nose. The chip obviously started going down the throat, and was forced back up into the nose when he sneezed. Well...how do you deal with that. It was stuck in there..he was freaking out. When he finally managed to blow the chip out, I couldn't believe the size of it. Then he got shitty at me...for not telling him to Not sneeze when you are eating/swallowing food.

Oh yes! Sneezing while eating is extremely scary.

Sitting across the table from some very poshy friends of my parents, just started chewing a peice of potatoe. Shit! That little tickle began... so I chewed as fast as was humanly possible to get this potatoe swollowable. But I was too late... whoooosh! And when I opened my eyes, I saw the now mashed potatoe sprayed all over the table in front me. Fail.

I know a guy who crashed a bus and hit a lamp post on the other side of the road sneezing. Well that was his excuse.

    So anything is possible.

Might be a better excuse for topping a tagger. He sneezed and fell onto my knife

Yep it's just one of those days.
