Wow! I am so impressed by President Obama, he has a rock star persona, everyone seems to love this guy. Not only that, he is quite a hot looking president

...Canadians love him! He is currently in Ottawa and after his meeting with our PM today he took a detour to stop in old downtown Ottawa to enjoy a "beaver tail" our beloved winter, skating on the Rideau Canal snack, un-planned! He is soooo coool!! He is definitely a people person, maybe he gave our PM some lessons in coming off the pedestal and mingling with his people as if he was one of them...

for good reasons, the only thing a m16 is designed for is kill humans. You don't go hunting with a ak47 all though may be interesting???????????

Fully automatic weapons are not good for hunting, but an M16 and AK47/74 have select fire.

You can buy AK's here you know.

But what seems to worry a lot of the lads on the gun forums I use is how they define 'assault' weapons.

take the retarded rules we have here, No Pistol grip, no folding stock, no more then a 7 shot mag (though one can see the reasoning there, but it only applies to semi automatic guns)

Just PC namby pamby rules to stop 'military looking' rifles being sold.

He did make some very popular speaches. I seem to remember some one else who was good at giving speaches as well.

Well, at least give the man 2 years before you start either blaming or worshipping. Things move slowly in Democracies. The good thing about Obama is the signal that he sends: Americans, at least the majority, are dissatisfied enough with Bush to place their vote of confidence on an afro-american democrat as president. That alone is quite awesome in my opinion.
