    Carb re-jetting?

    Has any one got any good links to information around this task.. ? mainly stripping down the carbs and replacing the Main and Pilot Jets?

    mate if you get the jets i can show you how to do it. ive done it so many times i could do it blind folded.

    here's a tip, replace the screws that hold the carbs on - they always will round.

    I've never bothered with the pilot jets on my bike - they didn't want to come out. and they only really control the idle, so if your bike idles, the pilots are fine.

    you might want to get a carb seal kit as well.

    air compressor helps to clean the carbs if they are filthy.

    ill think your find the pilots control more than the idle,
    but i agree they generally dont need to be changed,
    more important is the needle and the main jet

    ive a spare set of carbs here ill strip them down and take pictures if you want
