arent these points setup 6v tho? or does it not matter how many volts the coil is?

    6v - 12v

Yes that's right the original system is 6v. However bearing in mind this is a total loss battery system. It is a very simple to change to 12 volt using said 12v car (or bike) coil and condensor. The wiring circuit is simple. The points are not affected by the voltage, we even plugged in my 18v B&D drill battery once in an emergency. Wobbler reckoned the 18v gave the bike a bit more go. Although at 18v you would probably burn out your coil long term.

I can draw you a wiring diag if you want one.

Not sure if that sprocket carrier was GSXR or Impulse. I may have one but will still need the required diameter.

    Donor bike for bucket

Vanessa needs forks preferably front end with clip ons a radiator and a rear shock something along the lines of a 92 GSXR400 or NSR250 CBR250 etc.
I have got Got wheels bikes Master cylinder frame swing-arm rear sets engine.

Should have brought a donor bike but hindsight is a wonderful thing
