Henk will probably set me right but I think it's Suzuki Impulse that just about fit straight in at the back and only a very minor mod for the front caliper ( extra hole )

Front needs different spacers and one disk taken off. Rear needs about 13mm machined off the disk carrier.

Depends on the slicks. with 125 slicks 2.5 front and 3.5 rear are ideal, half an inch either way isn't anything to sweat over.

The GSXR and Impulse rims aren't perfect but are close enough, you can run the front to the edge, and occasionally ride off the edge, crashing doesn't help lap times a lot. And you'll have a 5 mm chicken strip on the rear.

can't figure out how to stop the crashing bit. But a few minutes with the disk grinder will sort the chicken strips out

I wouldn't go oversize, but undersize 2.15 ft & 3" rear is acceptable if you can't get the 2.5/3.5 set.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Right, my bucket project has only just started and already I am mooching. (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...1636212&type=3) and (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...1636212&type=3)

    a) First off, fork seals. They are a little weepy, not spewing all over, but probably should be replace. Anyone have some FXR standard fork seals lying around? know where to source them from without paying agent fees?
(Also, to replace them do I need any special tools?)

    b) Tyres. Currently there are horrible warn ones on which will be no fun on the track. What I am after are threaded ones in reasonable condition to fit standard rims.

Ideally you will be on the north shore and I will come pick it up. As always name your preferred currency.

It is debatable and contentious but some people prefer slicks pinched over std FXR rims to road rubber.

Having tried both and from observations I'd go with pinched slicks over anything but the best treaded rubber in the best condition.

Bought some from Olly on the FXR forum but thanks.
If anybody ever needs ant I'd recommend him, turned out of stainless at the lengths you ask for $15 each only thing missing is the nuts, I'll have a couple of LH thread M6 nuts left over in a week or so if anyone needs them. All seems together now so just jetting to sort and should be away with the new engine.
