Just having a quick browse around, did 3LN's really have cartridge forks?

No. I have had a couple of different model FZR forks apart and they were all damper rod type. I now have cartridge emulators from CKT.
The mounting for all the discs are the same. I currently have a single disc from a 2KT FZR250 on my 3LN front wheel. I got rid of the huge ugly front calliper and fitted the calliper and master cylinder off my old RS125. I think they're real nice brakes.
The 3LN front wheel is 2.75" and even I have been known to get to the edge of front slicks, and probably past the edge.
I have a suspicion the NC30 had cartridge forks...but not sure
YSS also do emulators i only just figured that out........never used them, so no idea..
I do have a 4 pot brembo in the shed no good to me bloody wrong side for the RS125 nf4 it is the wider mounts one so different pads than the Honda RS nx4 version.
I have a feeling if you were going to use the Honda fork might be easier to run with the std Nissin Honda caliper. As it was good enough for the early rs's.
I have a mount here for the RS forks and a bigger disk.
It was from a chassis i brought from scott i think it had a 2.5 honda rim and a FZR 2kr disk if that helps.

Kinky is using a feather. Perverted is using the whole chicken
it was a 2.5" rim, not sure what it was off, bought them from Kickaha years back, not 320mm like Ducati, my YZF750SP spare discs didn't fit so will be the 290mm
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Yeah, early ones had damper rods, later cartridge.
As for the other Hinder stuff; I'm confused, I was talking Yama here!?
Yeah, Fuck knows, I'll work with what I can get and what I've got.
Pretty keen to get wider rims, I used to be fine on pinchy slicks but I'm getting to be soft with age or something...

My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues
The the Bucket service i require is as such:
Someone who will put in writing that i can run a Suzuki RM85 engine at a meeting, gaining no points, just for experimental purposes to prove a point.
Said service would therefore guarantee the absence of fellow riders getting in a shit fit because it's 'Not in the rules'. Stock standard engine, just for a laugh.
Any takers?
I thought the other day, "That new Long-shit was a waste of $600, now what.... Ah fuck it, that dirt bike engine could be fun"
As the overlord of the international series of bucket racing, I hereby decree that RM85 engines are allowed in bucket racing. To the same extent I will also be accepting open 250cc 4 Strokes and open 600cc in all sidecars.
Please refer all questions regarding my right to the role of Overlord of Buckets to my PA: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php/2279-Henk
Well one would be foolish not to.
Me? Well I have a GG300 that has a small enough sized engine I could sling it into my bucket I'm pretty sure, - & I think I should be able to race it as long as I don't run over too many people & of course that I don't have to pay entry fees.
