Me? Well I have a GG300 that has a small enough sized engine I could sling it into my bucket I'm pretty sure, - & I think I should be able to race it as long as I don't run over too many people & of course that I don't have to pay entry fees.
Yes and my Goose would be perfect too!!

    Any takers?

I thought the other day, "That new Long-shit was a waste of $600, now what.... Ah fuck it, that dirt bike engine could be fun"
Seems a bit silly to want to formalise it I think. (Not that that counts for anything at all).

Wouldn't you be better off, to simply take the bike to a meeting and ask if you can run it?

Could be a lot of time and effort wasted if he gets told to not bother getting it off the trailer.

If the guys on their motardy pit bike things don't get told to fuck off, I think this cat's pretty safe.

Well yea na yea... I figure i'd at least start a talking point about what pub talk has proposed as a rule change. Could be the next big (yet smaller) thing. Allow 85cc dirt bike engines, stock standard bore and stroke. Only factory available oversizing allowed. Ie stock engines to keep the big spenders at bay, yet moving the sport forward into the future with a sustainable engine supply... Full top end re-build kit cost me $96 Landed overnight from Auckland. and for $50 more could have gone forged piston. Engine is stolen, so kinda a cheap build so far!

I'd find somewhere to run it

You need a NI club to adopt the CAMS 150 2T/250 4T open slather development class - and run somewhere like short track Taupo,

If someone up there will do it at a meeting as an experiment, you'll find out how speeds match up.

heck we've been over this a million times, just do a search. Short answer is build a bucket & stop trying to fuck with our class.

Can't say i agree with Grumpth on the open development. I still believe the bikes need to be designed for kart track use. I'm just looking for the next generation of engines. They dont make FXRs anymore and your looking at $1k just ton get your hands on a stock engine. I guess a lot of people wont like it after spending thousands developing their FXR engines.

What do you disagree with in the 150 / 250 cams class? Did you even bother to look it up?
If motors are too expensive maybe you should just go racing 85cc mx bikes on mx tracks
Only North Island buckets run on Kart tracks
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues

    super bucket

what about adding a new class called" super buckets " anything that runs rs or mx type frames ,wheels, engines etc . l know these type of things are already running like that anyway ! but not realy" bucket like " always was a road going bike or if you can build it your self . bet in the day if they new all these rs frames(which were hardly around )were going to be used 'the rules would of ruled them out.

What about not fucking with a class that already works fine as it is?
