I have an aquantance wanting a pair of RG150 cylinders and heads for a special, here is what he has to say------

i have noticed that the suzuki rg150 gamma top end is often used as a big bore for the rg 125 and the rg 125 barrels are the same as the rgv 250 barrels ' cant get the 150 barrels here in the uk are they available where you are ? i dont mind damaged barrels as the can be re welded machined and re coated and would like to find someone that can supply me with 2 x barrels and heads to make my 250 a 300 cc v twin' cheers

I think the Suzi 150's came in a couple of options differing depending on the market.

i think it was on the RGV forum or the Rs250 one it was by crabtree or Vincbr900 anyway

The ones sold new here were built in Thailand.
Steel liners on all that I've seen.

I've seen a South African one that was different but think that was a 125. It had USD forks even.

I tried looking but couldn't find it. I think it was either a wolf or a suro version of a ex ofr TX? or what not.
I think the 200 has the same bolt pattern as well, plus some weird artic cat or something he was playing with.

Hey all,

I have bought a CB100 bucket racer off trademe and the guy lives in Franklin in Auckland.

I live in Palmerston North and the previous owner tells me there is a meeting in Toke this weekend.

I know this is short notice but is anyone able to help bring it down to Palmy for me? Maybe someone from Aucks-toke and another toke-palmy?

Its a CB100 complete and running.
