There is a meeting at Mt Wellington this weekend. Come along and have a look at a few bikes to see how other people have done it.
    Stock is best

Thanks for the replies everyone. I did want to go out to Mt wellington to watch a race or two but I can't make it this weekend. I plan on having my bike read so I can do an event in mid feb sometime if they have one.

Edit: I spy 14-15th event at mt wellington. Might do the saturday practice rides!
Also found the thread on prepping my bucket. Thanks for that

Also need some leathers to tear up when I fall off, rather not use my good ones. Anyone got size 52s for sale?

    Front master cylinder

    Hi

I need a half inch (12.7mm) front master cylinder on my measly, dwindling bucket budget. If you need I can give a 16mm RGV250 master which I currently have that is too large.

    Cheers.

That's bloody small. What calliper are you running?

It's prolly about right for a single RGV calliper, I just remember most buckets having stupidly oversize master cylinders thinking they got more braking power from it.

Thanks mate. Much appreciated. It's for one side four pot calliper as I'm ditching the second RGV calliper.

I thought the standard RGV 16mm would feel really wooden with only one calliper being run. Hopefully half inch will be about right.

I try for under size and hope to make up travel with braided line and good bleeding/careful lever adjustments. Notice I said careful.
