Hi to all Auckland FXR bucketeers. Does anyone have an unmolested GSX-R250 rear wheel that they are planning to have machined to fit the back of an FXR150? I've acquired one that's already been machined and has had the appropriate bearings fitted, but one that hasn't been machined would actually be more suitable for my purposes. I would be interested in doing a straight swap for a suitably straight item. Feel free to text me on 021 963-280 if you want. Tim
As I've found in the past, the new lever has to have the same shape as the old one:
if the distance from pivot to cable is too short you don't pull enough cable to disengage the clutch fully - and if the new lever is going to hit the bar sooner than the old one it's the same problem again.
In the past Henderson yamaha insisted this wasn't the case and wasted a good half hour of riding time and even tried to sell me a new clutch cable (which would achieve nothing) when frosty had the right one for half the price just down the road.
Looking for this FXR part yesterday only the parts boy at colemans knew this, but quoted $130 to have the genuine part shipped in. Everywhere else didn't know this and tried to sell me more reasonably priced levers that clearly weren't a match
Sorry for taking so long. If its the one with the brake lever your wanting. I've got one you can have. PM me
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
Hi All - I have a CB250RS listed on Trade Me. I'm sure it could be used for bucket bits. I'm not selling it in bits just the entire bike.

My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
Anyone have any cb tanks with no deep dents for sale?
Sure I'm physic.
I'm assuming you mean a K0 CB750 tank, that would be a classic so say 2k?
Ahh but this is the buckets thread so I'll assume you mean a '68 twin with the breadbox & knee pads. Sorry all out of those.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Okay... A little tired for thinking of that one, I'm just looking for a tank to fit my cb125s
yeah .. i have one...
what a ride so far!!!!
I need an NZ250 fuel cap. Same as a GN one but nicer looking. Actually I could use a GN one but I'd rather have an NZ250 one.
A GSX400 is probably the same. There's probably hundreds the same - I just want one that fits - then I'll get picky about what it looks like.
No key required - the lock will be removed.
Rito im going out on i limb here ...... but im After a early 90s zxr 250 complete rolling frame or bike... anyone ?
money wise depends on what you have/what ill pay
thanks
I'm after whole engines or just the cylinders and heads. The condition does not matter though I would prefer them to be closer to standard. If the bore is last oversize and completely screwed that is OK.
