yeah they don't last forever, but the left hand side one is the one under most stress so a plastic cage one will fare better. SKF or FAG will do them. Right one in oil so generally lasts, but replace it while yer there. As Chris sez ask for C3 clearance.

I doubt I will have much luck finding anything really good in 18" buuuuttt
does anyone have some second hand tires worth running on my bucket to fit the 18x1.6 and 18x1.4 wheels on my GL145?
Preferably in Auckland

wait till he relists these they just finished
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.
They are pretty cool but I think they are only the same width as standard fxr wheels... so not ideal.
Good shit chris! see you next weekend?!
when I wanted 18' tyres I went and hunted out the back of cycletreads for some that had been replaced/chucked out off someones road bike, not ideal but cheap!
About the stickiest 18s you will find are BT39ss but they are more expensive and less sticky than second hand slicks, the reason for all the wheel conversions.
Let us know what is on it at the moment and head out on them in the meantime if they aren't too crap.

Kinky is using a feather. Perverted is using the whole chicken
Anybody out there have a pair of WETS somewhere around the 95/70-120/70 17 size? and is willing to part with them for around the $100 mark (per pair)? jolly racing is in desperate but on a budget need..
They rarely come up & when they do they are expensive as they last so little time when they inevitably get used on a drying track. $100? well maybe this is more your speed.
