Thanks Drew, it's an ongoing project so the VMX suggestion is good. Basically it's an old school bucket and I don't want to lose that look, I enjoy wallying around in B grade on it and if I get serious I will start with a different frame rather than try and convert the GP too much.

On my H i used some CBX250 shocks which were sort of adequate. I redrilled a hole in the frame & put an axle through to mount them a bit angled over which made them slightly softer than the 250 fitment.

The triple clamp on the GPs is woeful. Needs a better top clamp from memory, I think they were just bolts on top, not fork clamps. On my MB I welded some bottom clamps on the top & filed the holes so you could drop the forks through. This helped in many ways.
Don't you look at my accountant.

As it happens, we swapped the front end from an rgv150 into lukes GP. Goes straight in, and you can retain your wheel, and mud guard.

I fitted some CBX250RS shocks to my GP100, seemed ok. VMX shocks might be too long?

    Urgent

Hey guys and girls. My cousin is racing at the Barry Sheen this weekend, and the wheel bearings have collapsed on the NSR he's riding. MC18, cush drive and wheel bearings required, I'm in south Aukland now, but can pick up anywhere.

Moral is, amateurs should not change wheels. That spacer is important.

Talk to brian. I think I gave him my last part chain. Bits have been chopped out of it to lengthen F5 chains and to fix his when it borked. No master links with it though.

Hahaha, no not nearly ready. Actually still got a way to go. I haven't bothered with photos as it looks very simular as when you dropped it off, just in more pieces.

Just trying to scab as many bits and pieces as I can to cross items off my to do list.

    Yes, yes, yes, yes, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Sounds like Jess and Maclaine will be heading down to Morrinsville next week to do some wedding shit (dresses, cake, flowers, other crap I really don't pay any attention to when she is talking and asking for my opinion, because apparently it is my wedding too). But what that means is I could have a week of working till midnight making a fucking shit load of noise with no one to complain and no baby to wake up.

    Should see some progress.
