I'm after an FXR tank, or does anyone know of anything else that will fit instead?

I could probably move three FXR tanks at the moment if I had them. You may want to look into chopping the base out of yours and fitting a pit bike tank in there somewhere.
    Stock is best

I'm after a rear shock that will lift the MVX up a tad. If people could post up dimensions of what they have got, or what it came out of, I can investigate the items myself for application suitability.

I can modify nearly anything to fit, so just lemme know.

Wanna get mine going good and sorted to sell it.

I have a FXR tank which i took the bottom out and also have a plastic tank from a pit bike. Yell if you want it, i didn't use it in the end as i managed to get one. The mounts will still need to be made, but it will save you the hassle off cutting out the bottom of the tank and risking death :P. (not really joking)

I won't worry about the FXR tank but If you've still got the pit bike tank I would take it off your hands, let me know the cost. I won't take the FXR tank as I have a cunning plan about mounting the pit bike tank. I'm going to cut a hole just big enough to fit the pit bike tank through and then hold it in place by filling the rest of the tank with expanding foam. Does that seem reasonable or can you foresee any problems with that?

Just filling it, and that the expanding foam we use in building is not impervious to petrol.

Shouldn't come in contact with petrol if I install it right.

All good if nothing leaks I suppose.

Soaks up loads of water though, so gonna get heavy in the rain if you don't seal things up nice.

The spare FXR tank already has a hole in it at the bottom still smaller than the tank.. It will save you the hassle of doing the dodgy thing and cutting your tank. Filled mine with water and purged for a week and it still went pop a little.

Good call, I've had a tank go BANG rather than pop, after being puged (not well enough!).
Very, very scary and really dangerous.
