    Hey guys,

I'm in charge of the website for the cold duck and would really appreciate any photo submissions that you may have taken during the weekend

I've uploaded a few that I took, but as I wasn't able to make it on Friday, I'm missing quite a bit

If you have any photos you would be happy to have hosted on the site, feel free to send them my way at arowin (at) gmail (dot) com and I'll load them up

For all those that couldn't make it, it was an awesome night

    Cheers

Headed off in the rain expecting the worst. Went thru Whakatane overnite in Napier. Bit chilly to site but weather turned out brilliant . Wonder how many didn't go cos of the forecast. Only KB'rs spoke to were Winston and Froggy. Looked for the others but couldn't find any. Camped by this Guzzi which won best european. Great weekend. Hope the Brass turns on the weather as good as this was.

Load of soft whimps I reckon to be fair I was teased unmercifully about it up to the moment I left the BP metro in Palmie and nearly folded
Soooo glad I went even if my toes were a little chilly at 5am Saturday ( I know 'wear more clothes in future' and 'toughen up')

Shame, there was this tiny little fire over by the river and a few little souls huddled around it (see pics by Mark H).

Will have to fly a KB/CD flag at the kiwi so you can find us
There were so many poms there at one point we nearly put some Union Jack boxers on Bonez pole at one point but they would have ended up in the fire no doubt

On the way to Wellington Friday, weather crap until the micro climate at Kapiti, cleared up and saw a few bikes laden heading north,so assume they were on the way, into the city and shitty asabout 6.00pm,at 10.30pm a beautiful clearish night,no rain hardly at all on way home.

If people pre book you take the chance on weather and go anyway,or wait till the day and pay extra at gate.At least if ya prepay you will be sure you need to go lol,or forfeit the money.Peed me off not going after paying but no point if doc says not good idea, and next day feeling crappy, side effects lasted till mid arvo, but another one will come round soon.

After a frantic couple of evenings work getting the HID and the radar Detector installed I was all packed and ready to go early Saturday morning. Woke up at 6.00am to the sound of hail and rain on the bedroom window... (awwww FFS I thought... this will be fun)

Hardened up with a belly full of baked beans and toast I tore off down the Southern MW only to find that the rain dried up and it was even warm enuff to strip off the xtra layers at Tokoroa... yay

Arrived at the site at 1.30 or so in fine but coolish weather. Found a wee spot for the beemer and next minute was met by Shafty, Sesun1 and Gareth51... cheers! Said hi to Chanceyy and a few others )soz forgot your names but not your faces.

Time to talk bikes and sup a few. The Green ginger wine hit the spot as did the bourbons. Got to meet a bunch of KB'ers and all very friendly as well.

Somehow missed the wet T (was it on Friday night?) Had a few bevies and burnt some pallets yay . Headed to bed moderately early with the ear plugs in.

Met another couple of guys on Sunday that I had ridden with on the Rusty Nuts previously so it was a great weekend.

Headed home in the sun, all turned to crap over the Napier-Taupo and didn't really fine up till close to Dorkland.., then it started raining again just after I shut the garage door.

Good to meet you all, the Cold Kiwi is next I guess so will see you there
    Next event...
