    Easier to get them cut to the exact length I want. Anyway, Sketchy came over tonight and had a look at them. All sorted, going to be done

    choice he's good at stuffs like that , has he got a tap to cut the thread? or is he going to pull em apart and screw cut the thread on a lathe? just curious what is the thread btw?

    I believe he's got a tap. Unsure if it's going to be lathed, most likely not as he said I didn't need to strip the forks down.

    No tap. I'll put em in the lathe and part off the old bit, then screw cut a new thread inside.

    It's a 1 mm pitch paddy, but I don't know the diametre i'll find that out when I get em to the shop.

    sweet as, was gonna say if you didn't have one i can have a look at work for you we got all sorts of odd sized shit like that around, but screw cuttin the feckers would be just as fun, gonna use HSS to part the chrome off?
