It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

i was born with 2 ya know ....

i just got this from my sis in te States....from my Neice in the Gulf

I just got awarded a letter of commendation form the CO of 122 by my CO and XO here at 14, on the boat... I have never gotten a REAL award before... I was fighting a smile then I was freaked out because of what it said... I didn't realize how much I had been a part of in 122...
To quote CDR (that means Commander) G. N. Harris

COMMANDING OFFICER STRIKER FIGHTER SQUADRON ONE TWO TWO
    TAKES PLEASURE IN COMMENDING
    AVIATION STRUCTURAL MECHANIC THIRD CLASS
    LYNDA FLEENOR
    UNITED STATES NAVY
for services set forth in the following
    citation:

For outstanding performance as Plane Captain and Airframes Technician at Strike Fighter Squadron 122 from November 2006 to October 2008. Petty Officer Fleenor performed her duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner while earning command wide respect. As a Plane Captain, her effectiveness as and instructor resulted in a 25 percent increase in qualified plane captains enabling the command to meet critical training requirements. She was integral in the production efforts of the airframes work center, expertly assisting in the completion of 1,243 discrepancies and decreasing work center backlog by 41 percent. Her efforts for the command have proven invaluable in maintaining full mission capable aircraft and allowing the squadron to qualify 103 fleet replacement aircrew who now fight on the front lines of the global war on terrorism. Petty Officer Flexor's professionalism and devotion to duty reflected credit upon herself, contributed significantly to the mission of Strike Fighter Squadron 122, and were in keeping with the highest traditions on the United States Naval Service.
    Signed
    G. N. HARRIS
    Commander, United States Navy

Just so you know, aircrew usually means pilot... Discrepancies are Maintenance actions needing to be done on the aircraft... and that reason they repeat Strike Fighter Squadron 122 is because that says what our mission is and what type of jet we fly, generally.

    Anyways, it's chow time.

    Love you
    Lynda

The interesting thing is when women are in the cockpit, dogfighting is a different ballgame. Male Vs female thinking, changes the fight completely.

Clue #2. Although not American, they occasionally play with them.

You trying to say it's a pommy thing there, Swoop?

Actually reminds me of the old saying the WW1 pilots in the Royal Flying Corp used to say was "beware of the hun in the sun".

No, not a pommy thing either.
So many good "one line" sayings from the world of aviation! Most of them learnt the hard way.

Fast jet non-american community can really only be - Poms, Lufties, Frenchies and Ruskies.

Thinking now of Mig-15, 17, 19 & 21 pilots because I would think it would be a saying from that sort of vintage.
