Where to ride to (27/2/09)?

I have the friday 27th off

At the moment i am thinking of going to hamilton for fish and chips.

If any one is going for a ride and wants some company or wants to tag along let me know.

I am just keen for a ride.

The only hiccup is that i have to be back by 3.30p. I need my shots

Yeah mate im going upto auckland friday morning.

Coming from napier to matamata (see my father for a night), on thursday arvo. Leave matamata friday morning to take the ol' zxr250 upto auckland for a buyer. Thinking of being in auckland around 11. Got to catch bus back to napier at 1pm.

Never been for a nice ride with another 250 before.

Went on a quick squirt up the napier taupo road with my boss a few weeks ago.

Good fun when im trying to follow a gsxr1000 k7/8 Special Edition. lol

Everyone could imagine he was bored waiting for me to keep up.

Yea same i find i am ok with corners its the straight bits i just dont have the exceleration.
Dont get me wrong i love my bike, but its hard when the people you are with disappear into the distance with ease.
Ahh but one day we will be there.

Well I'm itching for a ride Friday too, whether it be up north sh16 or out towards the coro somewhat... What roads were you thinking of taking to Hamilton?

Ahh yes i remember when corners were a huge problem for me. I still get worried about a bad patch of road etc when im leaning.

Cant wait for next week im upgrading to a 2001 zx6r. After a while ill go for a ride with my boss. Should hopefully keep up a shitload better.

Im going to enjoy my trip. thurs and friday.

But one thing i hate.. SORE ASS! Anyone got any recommendations to get around the sore ass thing. I dont know if its solely my bike that makes it so bad. But my ass goes sore after about an hour or a bit longer.

not to sure.
As i am still learning that state highway one is NOT the only road known to man kind from my cager days.
I only know how to get to mercer via some nice back roads learnt from some gentlemen last thursday on the SATNR.
Other wise i was going to google map something but you dont really know the roads as in tar seal or metal.
I dont even know where SH 16 is
