Is it ok to be a Bogan?

Now that I'm in my 30s, do you think it's still ok (or was it ever?) for me to dress like a Bogan? My favourite items of clothes are jeans and either a Shihad, Metallica or Led Zep T-shirt (in black of course, and I'm not talking little cute ladies T-shirts, I mean uni-sex T-shirts)
Personally I don't give a fuck (cause I'm not about to chuck out my Led Zep T-shirts), but I'm just wondering if a woman especially gets to a certain age where she should start dressing like her mum? You know how we're supposed to stop dressing like a lamb when we become mutton.....

Hey Trudes, who cares. One of my closest friends dresses like a bogan and she isn't even one! But she feels comfy and if you can handle the heat in summer with all that black, eh, good on ya.
I'm the complete opposite - a real Trinny & Susannah lass, but if ya bike, then there's always and exception for ALL of us, right ?!?!

I think how you behave is more important than how you dress. Oops, you're buggered either way then aren't ya Trudes? No, just kidding of course my lovely If you dress like a bogan AND behave like a twat/bogan/teenager etc, then you've got a problem. If you dress like a bogan and behave like a sociable adult, then I say go for it!

Haha Go for it. unless your really keen to become -old- and part of the machine blah blah blah *insert rant about being a free spirit here*

Word of advice, dont go for the teenage look though. At a guess I'd say your a little past that stage.....

A nice "floral" blouse and pinstripe below the knee skirt with off cream coloured stockings certainly wouldn't go a miss.

No way Jose! Otherwise I would look so outta place when we hang. BOGANs for the win I reckon. I have to dress like a snooty miss all fricken week at work and when I'm not there you bet I'm not all tarted up like the management type I have to be there. I love my jeans and t-shirts and I'd so much rather be a bogan than an emo or a homie or a mod or one of those other sad pathetic fashionistas you see running around these days and for sure I am not yet old enough to dress like my mum sorry mum but it's true eh

Black jeans and Slayer T-shirts for the win.

    We'll still love you.
