Dress however the hell you feel like mate. I swing between incredibly scruffy and just a bit scruffy, though I have been told I scrub up quite well when I try I have a few years on you and really dont give what people think about the way I dress. Besides which, I will never recognise you if you dress differently

It all depends on how far you take the bogan fashion statement.
Low key all the way, just don't take it to the Bogaani level or we'll have to start black eye for the queer guy,or gal in this instance.

    Accessorise and die!

Personally I don't give a fuck (cause I'm not about to chuck out my Led Zep T-shirts), but I'm just wondering if a woman especially gets to a certain age where she should start dressing like her mum? You know how we're supposed to stop dressing like a lamb when we become mutton.....
Last easter at your place you had the TV going and they were playing the top 100 bogan songs......just let it out and say ''We're not gonna take it''!!

You're not really dressing like a Bogan unless you are wearing both a studded belt & moccasins, along with yer black supertapers, of course.

Must be quite difficult blending in living in an elitist place such as Newlands.

Wear what suites you. Look who you are. There's a difference. Nothing looks worse in my book is a mum trying to look like her daughters teenage friends. I'm not sugesting anything here just this as an example.

haha, you guys and gals are classic, knew I'd feel the love here amongst all the other bogans
No, I don't take it to the extreme, I'd barely call myself a bogan apart from the t-shirts, the love of Metal, V8s, bikes and that I drink Jack, cause I ain't showing you my tits!!

Trudes I gotta be honest with you. There is no way out.

I entered my 30s with 4 kids and a van. Much pressure to grow up and stop wearing black. And girl I tried, really I did. I cut off my raven locks, threw out my taper fit jeans and pushed my leather jacket and Doc's to the back of the wardrobe. I even went shopping and brought a skirt. I tried really hard.
But honestly its hopeless. I lasted 2 weeks before I found myself in the back of the wardrobe. The whole time I felt like I was pretending to be my sister. urgh...
Once a bogan always a bogan. Embrass your inner rebel. You are among many like minded friends.
Besides its how we find each other at parties.

I can relate to the bogan philosophy, it is akin to my redneck ways...With me it is Jeans and a Lynyrd Skynyrd tee, or a WWF tee...Either way Bogans and Rednecks are almost kissing cousins......

    Rock vs Southern Rock...
    Holden Vs Dodge...
    Hunting or Fishing...

Heck there aint a lot of difference!
