Well, when you get a shiny new bike, I'm sure you'll look back on it as a positive in the long term, and learning curve...

    good you are ok fizzy.

New bike shopping time is always good

P.s. sorry but I think they wont give you the exemption - I applied for the same thing but got rejected because I was deemed an "unsafe rider" due to my crash. But try it , for $22 you may be lucky.

Besides which, they've taken the best bikes off the exemption list now. Still, pretty easy to get one.

Was getting on at the mt wellington on ramp mergeing with traffic doing about 25-30kph looked back to make sure i had enough room, (heaps 3-4 car lengths) look back saw the cars in front were slowing quick but still had heap of room, applied a little brake and started to drift across the lane. front wheel washed out on the painted cat eye the next thing i know i am on the ground thinking WTF! my bike slid into the back of another car did like $400 damage to there car my bike has bent forks, fucked fairings, snapped cipon, no foot brake ir foot pegs and gravel rash on the muffler.
