I have to agree... we just picked up our new Jog which is going to be the feature of a "modifying guide" type thing. it is a blast even standard. But yeah either choice (Jog or Dio) would be a better option than the R4 in my opinion

Well I'm just waiting for my new Jog to available for pick up now, can't wait!

I will read the mod guide with interest, although I'm likely to leave mine stock for now. BTW I found the thescooterreview.com a really good guide when I was researching what to buy. Great site

I was browsing some scooter sites yesterday & I justed wanted to ask if anyone had had any experience with these scooters? Are they made by TGB? (just looks a little like a Laser R5) I also saw something very similar on TradeMe advertised as a Forza Speedjet.

I bought an R4 about a year ago and am very happy with it. It goes better than most scooters I test rode and has been very dependable. Rush hour did a review of the scooter as well which was very complimentary. Great for getting around town and parking. I have two motorbikes as well, but prefer my scooter for short trips around town.

these weight 105kg dry, the fancy breaks are all for show and ou will find all the branded parts such "NGK" plugs and "walbro" carbs are all fake copies from china.

if you want a cheap decent scooter that is fast enough to get out of trouble, i would buy the older model chinese scooters, buy a 72cc upgrade kit (no one will now its a big bore), get a high speed variator, change the plug to a proper NGK and do a full fluid change. as long as keep up the maintainance they will go forever and if anything breaks there piss easy to fix.
