A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Good trackday Tony. Shame the numbers weren't there.
Highlight for me was winding Clive up about his new bike ...oh...and your matching blue boxer shorts.

hey folks Im really happy you had a good time . Im especially happy that it was almost incident free.
Plans for another ?? HELL YEA
Im really keen to stick to that type of format. But to cover costs Im thinking 2 groups of 20 riders. Basicly RACE and FAST. 20 minutes sessions then as people head home open track for the rest of the day.

I'll be organising an album in my profile full of photo's from today, there was 295 all up so I should have gone through them all by Friday.
From there if anyone wants to purchase some they can just send me a PM with the details of the shots they want.
Meanwhile a preview shot:
Thanks Frosty for all the track time I had. Was a cool day. Nice to catch up with those there and meet Clive. Only time I've ever seen so few bikes on the track was the Bernard Team practice last year.
Your young fella did really well too.![]()
No way i could match the time you spent on the track (not counting the amount of time you spent lying down) Oh to have that sort of fitness lol
Race tyres next one aye ?
Bummer Tony was sounding like a good buy there for a while lol
Still think two groups race/fast and moderate/novice as i don't think you'll get 20 race bikes unless ya can time it for the day before a race day !
25 per group on the full track aint that many either as they soon spread out !
Was a great day Tony Cheers mate ! Just a shame the body wasn't up to the time the mind wanted to spend out there lol
Shame ya missed the money shot of Xan imitating a rag doll !

Tooo much Frosty. Thanks for putting this on and bringing my new toy down. And it was a pleasure to meet you William. Not many 13 year olds would have had the courage, discipline and skill to do what you did yesterday mate.
Was good to meet new faces and greet old.
I think I have worked out why I binned too. I was starting to get a bit aggressive into turn 3 and suspect I may have feathered the throttle at some point soon after the transition from 2 to 3 and simply overloaded the front tyre. Very suprising as I don't remember backing off and was fully focussed on setting up for turn 4. I thought I was accelerating. What it has made me realise though, is that I need more time on the new bike before racing it. I would be too dangerous at race pace so I wont be at PMCC round 3. Besides, my wife will be off playing ambulance officer on Sunday and I need to look after the kids.
Great trackday Frosty. Pissed off I didn't have my bike there. Got a heap of shots of everyone. Also well done will for your birthday ride ya looked great out there on the track and the smile was priceless.

That was a much better way to ease back into track riding than doing a normal track day. Traffic on track was virtually non-existent so I didn't have to look out for anyone. Could just concentrate on getting back into the groove and getting the feel back again. And those that did pass others didn't get groups of 3+ riders all jammed into the same piece of track.
I reckon for the next one have a max of 25-30 bikes on track at a time. Just closed pit exit until there's some bikes come in then open it again. Reason being that everyone there yesterday didn't feel pressured into getting their moneys worth so they didn't stay out if they made a bit of a mistake. They came in, sorted through what they did wrong and then went back out when they were comfortable again. Fix length sessions can see people staying out when they should go in and get their head together.
Excellent day. Will be at the next one too.
