    Lightweight pants?

    Hi,

I'm after some pants which I can wear over my normal work pants (suit type) for commuting. I have some normal cordura pants but I find them to be too bulky / hot. Draggins jeans aren't much better.

I currently use snowboarding pants which obviously isn't ideal from a protection point of view.

Does a product exist which is both light weight and protective?

    Thanks,

I personally wear a leather thong over my pants, gives me all the protection I need
