    Helmet lock

Hi, I have a helmet lock on my bike, and a shark helmet with a clip chin lock thing...so how do I lock my helmet to my bike? my old Rjays helmet had (I think it's called?) a D chin lock? and could put the D bit through the helmet lock...

Is the chin strap long enough that you can put it over the helmet lock? (with the clip tucked under the seat.. so it looks like it's attached on a D ring)

Or maybe put a small round ring.. like a key ring, on the strap & use it to hook over the helmet lock..

    Or use a cable tie...
    GET ON
    SIT DOWN
    SHUT UP
    HANG ON

My clip helmet had a D ring on it, it took me a few months to work out what it was for.

Then again, the drugs do slow me down these days.

Does the clip bit with a tounge have a hole through it? you could always put that on.

Or get a wielded D from the local leather / canvas shop and undo all the adjustment stuff, put it in then do it all up again. I'd offer you one but I just gave all my leatherwork stuff away.

i either use the d ring on my clip helmet, or else i put it through the hole in the metal part of the clip.

alternately, invest in a top box that can lock, and keep your lid in there.

I very rarely lock my helmet on my bike - heard too many stories of low lifes (lowlive?) cutting the straps. I've also got a cable lock in my backpack that I prefer to use if I do lock it on.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

im more worried about some jerk off spitting or pissing in it. thats why it only gets locked there in certain spots. at work, it gets either locked in the top box, or taken inside with me.

    Lock

Ive had a helmet stolen when using the lock many years ago, they just cut the strap and took it, I wouldn’t use the lock again.

True, you might as well just leave it sitting next to your bike.
