So much for the Government leadership. But the catch call her guys is if it all turns to shit it’s not the Government’s fault but ours.

Good blow job John but I know ya sucked em all in. Sooner or later they’ll learn. Count on it.

THAT IS NOT WHAT HE SAID.

Good blow job by you SR, but you didn't suck me in (do you swallow?)

How about we post the actual quote in the correct order, and see if the meaning changes?

Mr English said New Zealand needed to get used to the idea that change is permanent.

"Much of the adaptability is going to be happening on your shop floors, in your workplaces and in our workplace," he said.

Mr English said in the end it will be taxpayers who decide whether today was a "talk-fest or a do-fest".
So for years we bleat on about successive gubbermints ignoring "us" and when consultation takes place, that is broadly inclusive, on a mildly important issue, you have a problem with that?

So are you saying that as a taxpayer you've already made up your mind on this one?

Yeah, they did...and because they weren't specific enough in their wording, I lost a weeks holiday...my extra week long service leave went down the toilet...am I grateful...no, not particularly!

Then maybe its how your contract is worded that is the problem , thats something you have to take up with your employer, new laws cant benefit 100% of the people 100% of the time and no amount of laws can protect you from a shit employer , there is such a thing as good will and good sense and the government cant force that on your employer , maybe you can get happyness in the fact that your friends or loved ones benefit from the 4 weeks leave law

Anyone can manage things well when the times are good and sell holidays to the masses but the way they left some of organisations like ACC and the mismanagement of other Government agencies leaves a lot to be desired. When the global economy started turning pear shaped Labour didnt have any answers. I dont know if National do. We may be more screwed with National only time will tell. Dont want to sabotage this thread with political party bashing

Last political post replying to skyryder from me.

Basically you read a headline and get your analysis from a pinko blog. I doubt you are coming to your own conclusions based in reading the entire article - because its very obvious you haven't read the whole thing.

There is no point trying to discuss it with you because of your heavy bias and (to be frank) limited knowledge in what you are tying to argue.

So - I'm no longer feeding the troll, and just sitting back thanking fuck Labour's 5 headed monster didnt get in.

NZ is better for it - and nothing you can say will change that view.

    Um... no

Englkish said the taxpayers will decide if it WAS a talk-fest or a do-fest, or to put it terms a 5 year old can understand...

"If the job summit didn't do the things that makes voters feel happy, they're going to vote for someone else next time. And the people that organised it will be sad"

God's sake man - try interpreting things accurately otherwise it's not only you that's in for 3 to 6 years of misery, you're going to inflict it on the rest of us.

Job Summit can only be a good thing yes?
Surely its a step in the right direction for a change, being proactive in NZ's work force arena must be seen as a positive?

Most will remember 'Think Big' and 'Rogernomics (to name a few) from past Governments?

Maybe this Government will go done in history for the right reasons!

I think that SkyRanter's threads are superb.

It shows the true attitudes of a labour voter and gives ample emphasis to those "undecided" at the last election. All of the threads and ravings were similar to a Hitlerian speech to the assembled troops, gesticulating and frothing at the mouth...
Really quite a bit like Heilen Klerke herself when upset.

So, keep up the good work SR. Every foaming-at-the-mouth post is making someone positive that the did the right thing by ousting the Red Menace.

Bottomline on this apart from the extra quotes that you have used is that Bill English is now saying it is going to be up to taxpayer to decide if the Job Summit is going to be a ‘talk fest’ or a ‘do fest.

Mr English said in the end it will be taxpayers who decide whether today was a "talk-fest or a do-fest".

The difference being I have used ‘Job Summit’ and you have quoted ‘today.’ Both refer to the same meeting. “In the end’ refers to a much later time frame and is a reference to…………will ‘today’ be a job fest or a talk fest.

Quoting in order has not changed his meaning from my interpretation.

Apart from the extraneous material that I have left out I stand by my original post. There is no different ‘intent’ between my interpretation of English’s statement and yours, other than where to blame when the shit hits the fan; you and I the taxpayer If you disagree then I can only assume that your believe that the Nats will take the blame. Mind you there is a flying Pig Society made up of Flat Earth believers so all is possible.

Well it's not a political reply so I do live in hope. Never been a great speller, thanks for the lesson.

Oddly, while I'm at it why is it when I attack Key so many attack me instead of offering a defence. Take a look at the count of those that have responded to me as against those that have attacked me..........even for my spelling mistakes.
