    Twisting Throttle

Anybody that is after a light yet funny/entertaining read I can recomend "Twisting Throttle" This book is the story of a guys trip around Australia in 17 days on his bike (A mighty Suzuki). Well written it breaks down his journey by day and provides a good insite and things to think about if you yourself were going to be doing a similar trip. I believe he may have actually just completed a trip around the states at the end of last year so will keep an eye out for the next installment. Would love to do this myself oneday if the oppurtunity arrises

If I recall correctly, he saw the insides of a number of mince pies.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Some ride a lot and look a little, others ride a little and look a lot.

Seems his ride was the challenge not a tour of Aussie sights...love to do the same myself one day.

    Each to his own.
