where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    And another one.

What if John Lennon wasn't killed by an idiot. If George Harrison had quit the fags at 20 years or age, or never started. What might have been!!

umm, obviously MetallicA, but defintely Queen should be very near the top, Freddie Mercury was a fantastic showperson.

I've just had a look at Tool on wikipedia then a look at the Beatles..

    No contest dude.

The Beatles released more than 40 different singles, albums, and EPs that reached number one, earning more number one albums (15) than any other group in UK chart history. This commercial success was repeated in many other countries; their record company, EMI, estimated that by 1985 they had sold over one billion records worldwide.[2] According to the Recording Industry Association of America, The Beatles have sold more albums in the United States than any other band.[3] In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked The Beatles number one on its list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.[4] According to that same magazine, The Beatles' innovative music and cultural impact helped define the 1960s, and their influence on pop culture is still evident today. In 2008, Billboard magazine released a list of top-selling Hot 100 artists to celebrate the chart's fiftieth anniversary; The Beatles reached #1 again.[5]

O.K. I'm an old knut, but you sort of had to be there!

O.K. Sarge, two of my favourite quotes from the movies.

"Ther'es only steers and queers in Texas boy"....

"You look so mean that you would F... a man in the a... and wouldn't even have the common courtesy to give him a reach-around" Or words to that effect.

It's just popular culture. No offence
