Good so far right.
Cept on a busy day it goes like this.
Get to toll area stop. Find a parking place. wait in line 5 minutes. Find toll ticket issueing machine. enter your rego number. -Go back outside to get the actual rego number -back in line 5 minutes. enter number pay for ticket
Back outside to hot screaming kids.
Into tunnel
Meanwhile the bloke whoos none to worried goes up n over the top and is sitting in the puhoi pub with beer in hand as you turn up to join him.
Aint it great bein a non toll payin biker ??

What happened to the fancy rego plate recognition stuff that was meant to allow drive through tolling? Surely you shouldn't need to get out of the car?

You dont need to. You have up to 3 days to pay (can pay on the website)

Mmm, tis deliberate.

They want to make it as much of a pain in the arse to pay manually to avoid the administration cost associated with it.

They would love it if no-one would pay using the machines, makes their costs virtually nothing.

Of course, rental car companies are spitting.
