    National KB riders support network?

    I have an idea.
compiling a list on-site of people willing to offer support to riders who are touring or just out for the day.

I live in a small town in the country that gets a few bikes coming through, and is a long way from home/support to most people should something break down or go wrong on a ride. I have a fair amount of secure garage space, tools, can probably sort a trailer, ph and internet etc. possibly even a bed.

do others feel this is a valid idea ?

Indeed. We could've really done with that on our south island tour. what with the GN's emotional complex and all...

I have a double garage, a range of tools, and a trailor. Pity I'm in the heart of Auckland...

i think we need a mod to set up a sticky of some sort and perhaps canvas all members to see who wants to be in it.
i guess we only need a few in the main centers but who knows?
also an easy way to search by location would be good, it could also be a closed forum so people who are in there have some sort of protection of their details?

    anyone know a mod ????

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

well excuse my frankness but it is fuck all use if we don't know its there!

been here a while now and had no idea.

the title user notes hidden away under a rock does not really do it justice IMO.

don't remember being in coro.....or not since december anyway.

but back to the topic. Im thinking more of a forum or sub forum for bike support. impossible to miss. easy to search, perhaps by region ? dedicated to bike support and non commercial entries containing contact details and details of help that can be offered to bikers in need.

    cmon mods ?
    big site god ?

as I've been up & down the country lately & had a weee fall up in Gizzy it was great to run into other bikers that just said there's a bed, car etc & then there are the people that Mrs Shrek & I have meet & stayed with at short notice in both Islands : most of these were meet at rallies or rides etc
the KB get togethers are the best way as there's normaly only KB'ers there

but a list would be good to, coz if you're in a part of the country you don't know anyone it would be good to be able to ring some one & not worry about dragging them out of bed

The thread I linked is on the GBR main page as a sticky. What more can anyone do to ensure it's findable?
