    Kx125 float height

Hi All, I bought a KX125 (2005) for the boy and its flooding & dipping fuel on the run, so its carb strip & clean time.
does any one know the float height setting?

Does sound like it is more sticking than the hieght. Not sure of the hieght but if you don't have any luck give me a PM and I will ask our local Kawa mechanic (he's a mate so sweet to get the info off).

I think there's dirt under the needle seat ( it was running ok for the first 15 minates of riding), it need to came apart so I may as well check the float height and clean the jets.

As a matter of interest -what did the manual suggest it should be(float height)? Ive just loosened both clamps that tighten on rubbers around carb, and twisted it anti-clockwise about 7-8 degrees. not sure how it got on the piss like that - unless a branch came up and pushed it over maybe when I dropped it?I'm sure it s meant to work better level(when bike is upright). The problem i was having was the bike was running lean sometimes(on rough ground and when I cornered) I'll see what it does tomorrow at Arohena Trail Ride.Trial and error.

my carbs on the piss all the time, the tank gets in the way so it doesnt fit straight up and down, doesnt seem to make much difference to how it runs

If the tank is in the way then this must be the way your carbie fits maybe? Im just trying to eliminate what could be causing the fuel starve(which only happens intermittently)
The carb is clean as inside and fuel gets to the carb no probs. See how she goes on the ride today.

thats what i thought but looking at the reed side of the carb, the rubber booty thing has a liitle notch in it, there is a bit on the carb that looks like it should fit in it if the carb was straight up and down
