    My return to racing

As most of you are well aware, I gave up my favourite passtime of motorcycle racing in the last half of 08, much to the dissapointment of my two fans.

However, seeing the sport in such a dire state of affairs, I've decided that it needs my return more than I need the time off. That being said, I still can not safely race a bike so I'll try my hand at team management.

Just this morning I'm pleased to announce we have signed the services of an up and coming racer to ride the bike. He's fairly new to the sport however he is already really well known at all the high profile meetings and has a devoted following of supporters.

With the backing of a well known Auckland Dealership and hopefully more corporate sponsors on the way, we're planning a full on assualt on the Actrix Winter Series and hope to run at the front of the Superbike field within the first couple of meetings.

Please see attached the first image of our rider trying his new Superbike on for size.

Thanks for your time and please do come and say "Hi" in the pits.

We've left it pretty much stock to begin with due to not knowing what the rules are going to do for NZSBK in 2010.

Testing's going well though, he's already quicker than me. Especially if there's food involved.

To save costs you could probably just use the same spring from the suspension of your old bike as the weight of the new rider is about the same as your weight I would imagine. Will talk with R. Taylor about it, although Shaun may have his opinion on this as well.

Actually mate, we had considered that, but due to the fast tracked nature of getting the thing set up, we're just going to leave the rear end stock for the winter. Saves heaps of worrying about correct suspension set up when it's got none. We'll just adjsut the tyre pressures to suit.

And I can't imagine Shaun having an opinion Doesn't strike me as the type....
