12 months in business -- wow

I know its got fark all to do with bikes but we have lasted in business ( Millars Car Centre) a full year.
    Im bloody stoked.

Given its been one of the most turbulent and horrible years the car business has gone through with dealers closing up left right and centre its especially cool.

Heres the thing though. Yea Im a stuborn barsteward I guess that helps.
But the moral support and trust we've had from fellow KBers has been fantastic. The trust in us shown by some members leaving their pride and joy in our hands has also blown us away. Thanks KB

I'm constantly impressed every time I go out west - it seems that every second car has a Millar's numberplate surround!

You're a good guy Frosty and long may you keep it up!

Even if you are still in business, don't be too proud to close it and go do something more profitable elsewhere if it comes along. Not that I have any idea how profitable you are, but if something better comes along, take it and don't be a hero.

Fuck that DB. I'd rather do something I enjoy than something that'll make me a couple more quid any day of the week.

At the end of this month I'll be 2 years out of business. It has to be done - you can't complain about the boss or other businesses until you have been there yourself.I miss the long hours and hard work.....yeah right.

Glad to hear you survived your first year.

Don't forget to save up some money. The transition to provisional tax after the first trading year catches a lot of new business owners out.
