Hi all
Just wanted to see what different ways people use to break their leather gloves in.
I usually just wear 'em in but I have a new set of Alpinestars which are taking longer than normal. Anybody got any tips to speed up the process?

you need a really nice hot day otherwise this is excruciating.
put new gloves on, dunk hands in water till gloves are really wet. Ride bike till hands dry.
Or, do a track day. Sweaty hands and lots of movement means quick break in.
I have a pair of AStars GP Plus and they were quite tight when bought. I did the "Wet hands, ride bike" thing and Ive worn them a bit since and they are finally breaking in. Wore them all day yesterday (trackday) with no issues.
If you do get them sopping wet, dont forget to use decent leather conditioner afterwards...that softens them too.
Hopefully, the longer the break in, the longer lasting the glove....

I'd put them in an old onion sack attached to a 10m rope and throw them in the drink while steaming somewhere. Or another good one is to place them carefully into a portable concrete mixer filled with gravel and tumble for a day or so. Or if in an urban area, take the above onion sack and rope and hiff them onto the motorway for a couple of days.
Dont believe anyone on here.......... riding around with wet gloves on....really!![]()
A nice Pit
