Apparently the interviewer's face was quite priceless by the time one of the Lawrence brothers had finished reciting his list of injuries (something along the lines of: broken arm in a few places, broken ribs, bit of a crack in the spine, punctured lungs, etc) from their 'minor' crash at the Isle of Mann
A friend of mine said that she saw an ad on tv1 last night for the weekend's races too.

Our racing series is NORMALLY shown on TV1----- I wonder how TV1 are going to react when they see that a another TV chanell has got bikes on there now
TV1 DO offer a very good deal cost wise for the TV coverage we do get, IT MAY CHANGE NOW and become more EXSPENSIVE??? Bloody hope not

The reason why Sunrise was showing Pukekohe this morning on their show is they are based in Auckland and their sports reader is a motorcyclist himself. It is about time that Motorcycling NZ got more exposure on TV as A1 seems to get their fair share of it.
The interview with Avalon Biddle was fantastic and she sure is a great role model for the sport. I hope she does well this weekend. Sam Smith was also another great interview and it was good seeing him out there with Rod Cheeseman doing a few laps of the track.
If only Motorcycling NZ got that much exposure everytime there was a race meeting on anywhere in NZ what it could do for the sport.
Well Done Sunrise it was truely great to watcvh and lets see some more of it in the near future.

Her father txt'd me this morning saying 3 (had thought it was 1), saw the interview, thought she spoke very well, a good representative for the sport, certainly a lot better than the biff heads from our so called national sport that can't string a sentence together.

Horrible as this sounds, a third of the people who were interviewed on Sunrise, then went on to crash their brains out during the weekend.
