    Checking the head?

I would like to check my head for cracks leaks and warpage.

is there anything I can do at home?

I was leaking coolant for about 200km on a ride yesterday. I think some damage might of been done.

    Cheers

No. You'll need to get a doctor to refer you for an X-ray....

Wear ear muffs, that should stop any seepage/leakage/oozage or warpage from your head.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Pressure test the cooling system.

yes good idea, i'll get onto that, and a compression test. i checked the coolant level, and its fine, so perhaps after my side of the road repair job, i (or should i say badger8) overfilled it, and after a while the temp rose, expanded the fluid and it came out the overflow pipe? leaving the system with the correct amount in - and everything is ok?

just noticed that im missing an engine mount bolt.

    kinda important eh
