    These are the puppies: http://www.oxprod.com/index.php?pg=3...137&pid=174&p=

No complaints from mine (after I plugged everything in properly and glued the grips down - shop didn't bother doing a proper job). My left hand grip is starting to show a little wear (37,000km with them on) so they won't last forever - but they're pretty cheap at around $100. Couldn't buy a decent pair of gloves for that...

Those are the ones. They'll go well on the Tiger, I gave them a miss on the Daytona because they were a bit short when combined with the angle of the bars.

Oxford make "Sports Hot Grips" as well as the standard. It's why I'm all confused, as I don't know if the standard ones have this flash new controller.

Apologies Feilding Rider's for clogging up your thread. I'm sure a Mod will be happy to put this with the rest of the Manawatu crap!

Apparently they do (though perhaps it looks different to that one). The new bit is the separate on/off. The Connie's ones only has up/down which sux a bit as you have to hold the button down for a while to get them to come on. Also hard to see in the dark - they could do with reflective labelling or something.

If the sports ones are as good as the others then I think I'd be keen too - nice to have a smaller controller etc.

Fielding Riders probably like warm hands too...

soft... soft... all soft... YOD's the softest by far. And Meanie, your not much better... that Battlestar Concours generates its own localised area of heated air at the front, due to the immense friction and compression of air as you force that behemoth through the space occupied by said air.

Warm hands are good. Apparently the latest grips are a different rubber compound and thinner therefore better control. I like the new contoller.

Who cares about weather? See you in the sunshine tomorrow.

I was however reading about wind shear yesterday which there have been warnings about in the last couple of days.

That's the ones Owl, that the new model with the new grip pattern and new design of controller, the model that most of us have is still available albeit with the new style controller and they are $10 cheaper.

If the weather is looking ok tomorrow I might turn up to this shin dig.
